-current+older Compaq V5000=slack joy

no probs, nothing to ask, just a recommendation for a great, cheap slack experience...these laptops are dirt cheap on eBuy or kijiji these days...thanks Pat and the other usual suspects for your great work on this superior OS

next up is putting slack on my wife's now replaced mid-2009 Intel MacBook

Good tip. Same can be said for older Thinkpads (woot!)
