Cups and print trouble in Slackware 12 after trying Gnomeslackbuild. (solved)

After an attempt to install gnomeslackbuild (which used to work well on an earlier try), I get this error on startup, and cups wonīt start. I noticed this after rebooting the box as recommended. In a small panic-attack I uninstalled GSB, but the damage was done.
Quote:
/usr/sbin/cupsd: error while loading shared libraries: libldap-2.3.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
I really need some help on this one, as I prefer to avoid reinstalling until 12.1 is out...
And for sure, in the future I will muck around in a "sandbox" installation...

/edit/ I found a package that was removed by GSB, I think= openldap-client. Sorry for not thinking before writing.

your welcome
a problem I had was that users need to be in the printer group to use the printer
it worked for root but not for any other user until I added my users to the printer group
