Cups and an HP OfficeJet 710
 

supz everyone.

ok, i've already got my printer configured through cups to work right, it prints (using the deskjet550C driver :-/), my question to everyone is there a linux driver for the HP officejet all-in-one (it's a scanner/copier/faxer/printer), so that i could use the scanner and it's other features? i looked on hp and appearantly they don't have one, i was wondering if maybe i need to look elsewhere?

I don't have one of these devices, but I do know that historically there have been problems getting them to work. That said, here is an officejet project on sourceforge. Their last release is over a year old, however. Search for "hpoj". You might also go to linuxprinting.org and see what they have.

thanx man, that got the scanner to work... that makes me happy for now :)... but it dosen't have anything for the copier or faxer.. i'm gonna asume that this isn't supported, but if anyone has any advice on how to get these to work, it would be greatly appreciated :)... thanks again T2F
