Critical bug in removepkg

From 'man removepkg':

Code:

When removing a package, it's original file index will
be moved from /var/log/packages to /var/log/removed_packages.
Likewise, it's installation script will be moved from
/var/log/scripts to /var/log/removed_scripts.

"it's" → "its"

:p

You rascal.

chrisretusn 11-17-2012 04:39 PM

LOL.

escaflown 11-17-2012 05:26 PM

:D very critical indeed.

Technically speaking, considering the well testing and stability of PkgTools, I can say with one hand to heart:

YEAH, that's an shocking critical bug! OMG!

mudangel 11-17-2012 06:48 PM

Code:

removepkg man man-pages

pdi 11-18-2012 09:44 AM

Code:

fortune -m Edpress

Just a curiosity, I am using an old version of Slackware, on mine:
Code:

man removepkg

AUTHOR

Patrick J. Volkerding <volkerdi@mhd1.moorhead.msus.edu>

I wonder if he still checks that email and maybe that's why he hasn't fixed the bug.

dugan 11-18-2012 02:02 PM

That bug has been fixed.

Code:

man removepkg

Or perhaps you mean 'It's been fixed' :)

Probably a deliberate mistake, to see how many people actually RTF man pages. ;)

And here I thought that Slackware was the *one* distro that paid attention to the little details. How could I have been sooooo wrong?!? :p
