Create swap partition AFTER installing slackware?

When I installed slackware 10.0 I made a stupid mistake and forgot to create a swap partition. I have 512mb of ram...but i think i still need a swap partition. Anyone know if/how I can create a swap partition for my system without having to reformat? I have only one HD which dual boots with win2k if it matters at all. I really would rather not reformat, if I don't have to because I just upgraded to kernel 2.6.11.10....

No problem.

And no partition needed. . .

You can always use a swap file to fill the gap when swap is needed.

Here's a quick doc I found about it. It applies to slack in this case too.

Look at the second half of that page and there you go.

Just a quick note. . .

You might want to make the swap file as root in root's home folder. . . that way users can't dump the contents of the swap file and go garbage picking so to speak.
