I've been running KDE 3.3 since the day it came out on download.kde.org. No KDE-related crashes so far. I've been playing MP3's/OGG's/WAVs as events or in Juk and Noatun. Shutdown/Starts are also ok.
Hoever, you problem does look sound-related. How does the crash look like?
- Everything freezes? No mouse, keyboard worky?
- You get a KDE Crash message, with the name of the crashed prog in the title.
- Other.
Originally posted by suslik I hate to say it, but I would suspect your hardware. Can you try other OS on this machine to see if it will also have issues? (Windows?)
Nope it doesn't crash on Windows XP , I'll try turning of arts, or the whole sound hardware to see if it's stable.
