cp

Hi there!
I have a bit of problem here. When I try to copy a system directory like /lib/modules/some_kernel_module_dir or /usr/src/linux I get an error:

cp: omitting a directory 'dir_name'

Maybe someone can help me here? Thanks in advance!

You might also want to try

cp -a

on some directories where date/time stamps and ownership are important. The "-a" is inclusive of the options "-dpR".

Why, it is a handle I use almost for everything on the net, I don't remember when I started I wanted to be neo but it was taken so I picked this one up out of blue and it worked (I believe it all goes back to napster times).

Cool My nick has the same story. I installed mIRC and waned to be wonderpunk but in those days a nick could only have 9 letters so I automatically became wonderpun. That's my story I use this nick everywhere ever since

Old habits are hard to break! I used to make fun of this guy on another forum I used to chat on, his name was MasterP, so I became MasterC since my first name is Chad.

Used it ever since.

Cool
