Try rephrasing your question with a little detail. How can we possibly know what's going on?

i have the same problem. Am running Freespire 1.0 and after downloading Firefox i can't run Opera anymore. i tried running it from a terminal (after closing Firefox) and it gives me 9 error messages, all of which say:

couldn't open fontconfigs chosen font with Xft!!!

Any idea what this cryptic msg. means?

Have a great day!
