I was making an img of my drive onto another drive of the exact same size. Took a long time, but unfortunately it failed at the end. Here's the command and output:
# dd if=/dev/hda1 conv=noerror > /home/tempdrive/hda1.img
dd: writing to `standard output': No space left on device
132559553+0 records in
132559552+0 records out
I'm guessing that it failed to put the last section in. I've increased the size of that parition and was wondering if there's any way I could continute the dd and finish up that last record.
Or does it really matter? Is that last record, maybe two or three files? Is the img corrupted or can I still use it in its current state?
