Console font and kernel keymap for Vietnamese language, anyone?

We have a volunteer to do the Vietnamese translation of Slackware's installer (slint project, see my sig).

But the terminus fonts that we use do not include all glyphs of Windows-1258 aka cp 1258 code page needed to write Vietnamese in their Latin alphabet (quốc ngữ).

So I am looking for a suitable console font. I could check, one at a time, all fonts in /usr/share/kbd/consolefonts with 'showconsolefont' but that would need _some_ time...

So I would be grateful to know of a console font (preferably already included in Slackware) including all needed glyphs.

In the same vein, does someone know which kernel keymap and XkbLayout / XkbVariant would be appropriate?

TIA for any clue.

EDIT Looking at evdev.lst, X keyboard layout seems to be 'vn' with no variant. Other questions remain.

Eventually I've found font viscii10-8x16.psfu.gz that include needed glyphs; in addition it includes an UTF-8 table, so it can display UTF-8 encoded characters directly (no need for an UTF-8 -> VISCII conversion).

Only limitation, it is available in only one size, but that's a minor inconvenience IMO.

We can use kernel 'us' as in the installer only ASCII characters have to be typed.

I have marked this thread as [SOLVED].
