Unhappy Connection via Proxies..?

ok, well my whole ISP has been banned from a certain IRC Network, so I can no more connect to the server either... and I need to, since all my friends do chat on there.

so, I decided that I have to mask somehow my IP Adress.. and the only idea I came to was using proxy servers or so.

but the problem is, I don't know much about them.. I checked the i-net and there are tons of free proxies.. but are they any good?
and how could I configure such a proxy to work on my Slack ?

any help will be gladly appreciated, thanks.

Hi. You could also look into an app like tor. It can be slow, but it does a very good job with anonymity.
