connect to internet using command line


guys wat can i use to be able to connect to the internet using the command line? (level 3) m using 10.2 slack.. thanks .

As root run pppsetup and follow instructions.
If you find problems, ask.....
me or somebody else will do our best

How is your network setup? Are you trying to connect via network (ethernet), phone line, or vpn?

( maybe make that EFFECTIVE questions. )

are you setting up your network---> give some info on connection/hardware.

...or do you want to read webpages on the cli ? ( try links )

m only using a dialup connection.. with the free modem driver from linuxant
