Compiz on Slackware 11 with kde+ati. Help!!!!

Hi everybody...
I'll be as brief as possible.

I'm working slackware 11 with fluxbox and kde on a laptop with an ati radeon card. I've downloaded ALL of the packages listed in slackware-current/x except for the fonts. I've run upgradepkg --install-new *.tgz and I've also installed the ati driver from xorg. At first, x wouldn't start but a friend of mine fixed something in xorg and all was fine.

For some reason though, fluxbox binaries as well as alsa binaries were erased(maybe other things as well, i just noticed those two). Anyway, I re-compiled and installed them and they work.

But can anyone tell me how to make kde 3d? What should I change in my xorg.conf or what else do I need to do generally so that I can use compiz and how do I configure it? man compiz does not exist in the package...

Thanks a lot...
