Question Compiling Pidgin Issue

Hello Everyone,

I'm trying to compile pidgin with voice and video support. When i try
and compile it i get this

checking for FARSTREAM... no
checking for FARSTREAM... no
configure: error:
Dependencies for voice/video were not met.

I have farstream and telepathy-farstream install from SBo i made but, i
still get this.

Try to examine the documentation of your pidgin version and ascertain if the farstream and telepathy you installed from SBo is the right version needed. Sometimes a little variance of version number can fail the compilation.

Good luck.

Have a look at the config.log file to see what it is looking for and see if/where you have those files.
