compile squid

Hello,
I have recently installed Slackware. I have installed everything. Is Squid there on my hard drive now? If yes where to find it.

I want to compile squid myself with delay pools. But I donot know how to do it. Do I have to first fetch it? How and from where?

Some guidance please.
Regards

Squid isn't part of Slack, and you will indeed need to get the source.
Once done and unpacked, I suggest reading the documentation that comes
with it - it's quite good.

Cheers,
Tink
