Comcast Cable Support

Im running a KDE desktop envoirment. I've browsed around to see if I can connect to the internet using my cable modem but all I see right now is dail up tools. I run a RCA broadband. Just wondering if linuxs supports it.

Go to a terminal and type as root:


Make sure you know all your ISP info (primary and secondary DNS, Domain name, DHCP server name and IP if needed). This should get you going. Additionally, make sure that your NIC is installed with proper drivers. If you run into any snags, give us a shout.
