Clustering with Slack?

Has anyone here any expirience with clustering with Slack?
I need to make a project for my final exam at my college.
So far I tried CLIC (Mandrake) project which is quite old and
seems to be dead. I couldn't get any information on
mailing list for this project at the official Mandriva site.
I need a suggestion or any kind of reference which would lead
me further on with clustering.

But you should have no problem with clustering Slackware Linux. If you want to make a cluster doing resource optimization by spreading jobs accross a cluster, have a look at the openMosix kernel extension:

http://openmosix.sourceforge.net/
http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/openMosix-HOWTO/

If you want to do parallel programming:

http://www-unix.mcs.anl.gov/mpi/
http://www.csm.ornl.gov/pvm/pvm_home.html

Practical instructions for setting up a cluster that uses MPI:

http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/Beowulf-HOWTO/
