Question Changing the language


How can I change the language of the dict in some programs, like gaim...

I installed Dropline gnome and everything is in english, no problem with this, but I wish use Portuguese dict in the apps like gaim...

how can I do it ? I try find where to change the language of the system but I didnt find...

Edit your /etc/profile.d/lang.sh like :
Code:
LANGUAGE=pt
LC_MESSAGES=pt
LC_ALL=pt_PT
LESSCHARSET=latin1
export LANGUAGE LC_MESSAGES LC_ALL LESSCHARSET
requires glibc-i18n package installed
Also I assume you want portugese not brazilian ?
(for Brazilian, change pt_PT to pt_BR in LC_ALL)
