changing graphics cards
 
i have a gforce4 mx440. i have the nvidia drivers working for this card. i have just got a Ti4200 128ddr. my question is do i need a different driver for this card? because i coundnt find one at the nvidia site. i found a thread with some hints but xwindows wouldnt start for me when i did the changes. what is "RenderAccel" thanks

In the README - Text Version file at Nvidia's site your card is listed - GeForce4 Ti 4200. However, after you install it, I think you'll need to run xf86config. That card is quite different from the one you've been running.

Set the RenderAccel option to True in XF86Config and you should be okay.
