changing/configuring gtk themes

Hey all,

I'd like to be able to change the way firefox looks on my slack 9.1 laptop.

Do I need to change/configure the gtk theme to do this?

how do I do that/ can anybody point me in the direction of a tutorial?

The default look is nice, but the text and buttons are way too large for my 1024*768 screen.

Thanks,

--Chuck.
