Changing color of command line interface

Is it possible to change the text color of the command line, when Slackware first boots? If so, how?

That would involve the boot scripts, which are in /etc/rc.d/. To change colors in Bash (the CLI most use) you have to specify escape sequences. Do a google search and you'll see these sequences and some examples on how to use them. Making colored boot scripts would be cool, but a lot of work.
