I'm having trouble with opening my partition table with cfdisk. I dont know what device to use, i have a few hard drives hooked up with scsi/raid. which device do i use?
tried /dev/sda and it gave me error message. and im not to shur about the haard drive configuration. how would i find that out with a linux slackware live cd?

On bootup you will see the list of devices and the corresponding hd* assignments, or if scsi, sd* assignments. I dont remember the log file off hand that you bootup is logged too but after booting up just 'shift' 'page up' and see what the assignments are and then you can fdisk that
