Centrino and slackware?
 

Does anyone know if I can get Slackware running on a Intel Centrino laptop? I'm looking at buying one and really don't want to have to stuggle to get it up and running. Wireless networking support is a must have.

I think you're out of luck at the moment - Intel's stalling over releasing the drivers for the wireless card in Centrino

You'd be better off getting a pentium-M laptop and adding a wireless card that's supported.
