cdm (console display manager) on slackware
|
There's a git repository here:
https://github.com/ghost1227/cdm Presumably you would then just run the install script included, put it at the top or /etc/rc.d/rc.4 and configure it as the Archwiki says. |
Just running the install script is never a good idea. There is a reason for package management.
Have a look at: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/cd/cdm-git/PKGBUILD should be brainless to make your own package following that or better yet writing your own slackbuild? and maybe sharing via sbo! http://slackbuilds.org/guidelines http://docs.slackware.com/slackware:slackbuild_scripts ( notice the tutorial ) If you choose to submit you also might want to have a look at this or sed -e 's/slim/cdm/g' README.SLACKWARE ? http://slackbuilds.org/repository/14.0/system/slim/ |
