cdburning with kernel 2.6.8 or higher

need some help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

cdburning is not working with kernel 2.6.8 or higher. it works great with everything up to and including kernel 2.6.7. Is SCSI-Emulation required again? or am i just missing something in the compilation of the kernel.

any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance
