cant startx [pango gnome errors]

I think i''ve posted more in the last couple of days then I have in the last couple of monhs..

anyway... me again.

installed 10.2 using UPGRADE.TXT.

everything seems ok.

i can see all my hardware stll and the are configured as per pre upgrade but i can't start x

now there are alot of errors etc..

sorry can't cut and pasted coz i'm having to use windoze but there are alot of gnome errors and messages related to Pango.

i.e gnome-session:8482: Pango-Warning **:/ /usr/lib/pango* undefined symbol .....

Now I know gnome has been dropped.

is part of my system still trying to load it.

if so how to i re-eductate it to use kde ?

thnks for everyones support

try logging back into your system and run
#xwmconfig

then select your x manager from the list
(KDE should be at the top)
