Cannot play AAC with mplayer
I can't play AAC encoded files (by itunes) in mplayer. I copied all of the essential codecs into /usr/local/lib/codecs and compiled with the --with-codecsdir=/usr/local/lib/codecs option, but I still cannot play .m4a files.
What else must I do to enable support of these files? |
Uggered if I know - I can. There is a good HOWTO for mplayer in the fedora FAQ page (www.fedorafaq.org ?) and it is a compile from source so only the source package name will be different. (See - I noticed you had slack!) I mention this because I got my instructions there and there's only a bit of a bug with selecting the right filters playing DVDs.
