cannot d/l python from -current mirrors
 
weird...have tried from several different mirrors and this is the error msg I get each time...

I just downloaded the file, no problem, from the ftp link you posted. Give it another try.

odd...still borking...I'm about 4 layers deep in a WAN behind a load balancing NAT server and a wireless router and some part of all this "security" may be the issue with the passive ftp request, but why just with one pkg? weird...

thanks Petri, been away for a few days, but still the same result here...very odd, everything else dl's just fine, and I get the same result for only this Python file from _any_ mirror I try...
