Question Cannot Boot Any Linux Live CD but Slackware

I just recently installed Slackware 14 out of curiosity. I'm not that new to linux, as I have used Backtrack, Ubuntu, Fedora, and Linux Mint in the past. After I installed Slackware, I decided that I preferred Backtrack in most ways, so I decided to load that instead. The problem was, after I installed Slackware, my laptop refused to boot Backtrack Live CD. I then tried Ubuntu and Linux Mint. The only disks that my PC would boot from were the Slackware 14 and Windows 7 Install disks.

Has anyone else had this problem, or have a solution to it?

Thanks

Ok, after weeks of trying to solve the problem, I finally did it. It turns out, Daemon Tools Pro (the program I was using to burn the CD's) expired. Rather than telling me this however, the program decided to purposely mess up every CD I burnt with it, costing me time and money. I will be sending them a strongly worded message about this.

I presume there is nothing wrong with the Backtrack, Ubuntu and Linux Mint disks (ie will another PC boot off them)?

You can do all this from the command line under Slackware.

Or with k3b which comes with Slackware and is an excellent frontend of CLI burning tools.
