madslack@darkstar:~/LimeWire$ ls -l /var/log/packages/gtk*
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 10270 2005-11-29 20:39 /var/log/packages/gtk+-1.2.10-i386-3
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 51259 2005-11-29 20:39 /var/log/packages/gtk+2-2.6.10-i486-1
madslack@darkstar:~/LimeWire$

damn now limewire doesnt work too.....everything that need java cant run

madslack@darkstar:~/LimeWire$ runLime.sh
Starting LimeWire...
Java exec found in PATH. Verifying...
Suitable java version found [java = 1.5.0_04]
Configuring environment...
Loading LimeWire:

******************************************************************
Something went wrong with LimeWire.
Maybe you're using the wrong version of Java?
(LimeWire is tested against and works best with with Sun's JRE, Java 1.4+)
The version of Java in your PATH is:
java version "1.5.0_04"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_04-b05)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.5.0_04-b05, mixed mode)

Firstly, IMHO ktorrent is great. And you don't need me to mention that needs half the resources Azureus (or any java client) needs

About the gtk problem.
Do you have pygtk installed ?
When it asks for gtk i think that it needs the gtk python libraries.

Anyway, it doesn't matter since you use ktorrent, but i just mention it.
