Can't load modules because I'm using an old kernel with everything else updated...

I had to take the adaptec.s kernel from the slackware CD and boot with that instead of vmlinuz. I ran swaret, and it updated vmlinuz, which is not used. So now the computer is set up for version 2.4.26 but the adaptec.s kernel from the cd is still the same (2.4.22).

How can I get a 2.4.26 kernel for adaptec.s?
