Unhappy can't install slack.....:'(

Okay i am trying to isntall slack and i am getting an error at the 'target' stage of the setup. After i set up the swap, i try to set my hdb6 as my root and format it using reiserfs but then i get these weird msgs which i think are error msgs..not really sure...it's quite long with bunch of weird codes but the first line says general protection fault or something similar.....any help??

I will post by partitions if they are needed...

thanks

Why not just use 1 swap/1 root?

Not sure what's going on with that...possible that it doesn't like where the partition is...hdb3 is at 1276 1307...

Yeah I see that hdb8 sitting there...how about using a smaller drive for root (like 1-4gb), then using the other partitions on hdb for /usr, /var, etc.
