Can't install AMSN,GAIM...

I asked this question before an before...no answer.So i try again...
I am in a LAN and the admin told me that i use a proxy to connect to the Internet.He asked me to install Gaim or AMSN .
OK.I download the packages and i install them.No,they don't want to run.Why ?
(Gaim returns : Invalid proxy settings. Either hostname or port number specified for your given proxy type is invalid.Couldn't connect to host.
And AMSN has problems when it try to download TSL module.)

Does anybody have any idea ?

Yes, I have seen that you have posted before. As you probably know, theRules state that double posting is prohibited.

If you are unsatisfied with the answers you were given, you should have replied giving more information or asking a clearer question.
