camera on d igikam

Guys. I have a Sony DSC-P150 digital camera which I can mount on /mnt/camera and access its files. I would like to make it work with digiKam but digiKam doesn't have the model of my camera on its list. How could I access my camera via digiKam? (Hal + dbus don't mount the camera too )

Mount command I use:
# mount /dev/sda1 /mnt/camera

When attempting to set up your camera in digikam, did you try hitting autodetect and see of your camera is picked up? If it's not being picked up, you can try setting up in USB mode as that should work since you can mount the camera as a usb mass storage device.

My camera is not recognized by HAL + DBUS, consequently, KDE doesn't mount it on media:/ since I compiled KDE to interact with HAL + DBUS. So, digiKam can't mount my camera too.

If I put it as mass storage device USB and mount it, it says it was impossible to find camera (check if bla bla)...

camera, digikam
