Calling all bash fans....

I have this really annoying problem that is by no means detrimental but annoying none the less.... Can someone insert this into their bashrc and then log in on a different console?

export PS1="\[\e[34;1m\][\[\e[0m\]\[\e[32;1m\]\u\[\e[0m\]\[\e[34;1m\]@\[\e[0m\]\[\e[32;1m\]\h \w\[\e[0m\]\[\e[34;1m\]]\[\e[0m\] "

VC1 displays just fine... When I switch to VC2,3 or 4 and login.... Well..... I really can't read Nordic runes very well so it's hard to know what directory your in..... :-)

If someone is bored and wishes to give it a whirl, that would be fabulous.... Thanks!

Jon

Well, whatever is wrong with your machine, it's not
the PS1 line ;) ... works well (ummm, let's say as designed,
personally I find it appalingly ugly ;}) on all consoles ...

Cheers,
Tink

How Rude!!!! Well, allright... Thanks tho.... Dont like blue and green I take it? I think it's quite stylish.... Was curious if it was specific to my machine or if there was a syntax error somewhere. Question answered.... Thanks!
