building the lastest gnome on slackware 14

Has anyone tried to do this? I need kernel 3.2 and would like to try the newest stable gnome on my machine. I tried to build with jhbuild, and I installed the needed packages as I tried to build gnome, but couldn't get all the packages installed. and I aborted. anyone has information on this? what packages do I need at minimum to build gnome 3.4?
