Brother MFC-210C

I'm trying to get Brother MFC-210C configured as a printer. I have manually installed the drivers from Brothers home page. I can set the printer in CUPS but trying to print the job is aborted and checking the logs (with verbose logging enabled) I can't see any errormessages. Has anyone got this printer to work with Slackware? I am using Slackware 11...
