Question Boot Errors


Hi, I'm running Slackware 9.1, updated tu current with swaret, and Dropline Gnome installed. I have multiple errors when booting Slakc, but still it worls fine. But I would like to get rid of thoses errors. Here hi a copy of the errors lines using dmesg:

That's it. Note that even before upgrading to current, I already had those.

Since the new kernel (2.4.26), I also have a lot of crap repeated many time, but it doesn't appear when calling dmesg. It's
insmod: /lib/modules/2.4.26/kernel/net/irda/via-ircc.o.gz : init_module : No such device

And no more sound too, since new kernel... =(

Do you have an idea how I can fix that? \

I used to get similar hard disk errors, but I didn't ever fix them...

As far as your sound goes, you may need to recompile your kernel with ALSA support and include the module for your sound card.
