BOOT DISK PERMISSION DENIED? plz help

So, I'm here trying to install slackware 10.2 and one of the first things I need to create are the boot and root disks. I have no unused burnable CD's, BUT i am capable of doing a loopback to install slackware, so it's doable.
However, my problem starts before I do.
this is the log from cmd prompt.
Quote:
C:\>rawrite bare.i a:
bare.i: Permission denied

C:\>rawrite12
RaWrite 1.2 - Write disk file to raw floppy diskette

Enter source file name: bare.i
bare.i: Permission denied

C:\>rawritent

RaWriteNT 1.0 by Ben Hochstrasser (bhoc@pentagroup.ch)
Source Image File name: bare.i
Target Drive [A]: a:
Oops - That file is too big for this medium (4294967295 vs. 0 Bytes).

C:\>
At first I thought this ment that my files were just, read-onlys. and so i check the attributes of the files/folders (which are all allocated in c:\ (except bare.i, it's a folder in c:\) to make the
execution of command to create the boot and root disks just simpler. cause i got tired of having to type c:\slklin~1\isolinux\sbootmgr\rawrite
over and over and over again.
Quote:
C:\>attrib bare.i
A C:\bare.i
, CLEARLY, it's not just read-only, . I followed a tut to try to fix this, it was mainly for XP Pro, but i tried anyways, and no luck. Even when bare.i is set as an archived system folder it's still permission denied.
Also the other interesting thing was with rawritent how it accesses bare.i but then says it's too big for a diskette.
Bare.i is the smallest one isn't it?
thats why it's named bare, cause it's the bare bone booter.
i thought of making a small drive to boot from, like make separate drives that are just big enough to work, but you can't rite to anything other than a diskette anyways. so thatdidn't work.

So ya, My help needed is reagardingall that. I can't even make a boot disk. I get the same errors with install.1 and install.2 aswell.

The only other one i get is the , no such file or folder. so if i don't even have the files to make the boot disk, wtf is on the isos then?

Thankful for any help i can get.

I've made an edit, it is as follows:
12 people have viewed this so far and none have fixed my problem.

If you guys require more information please state what it is you need.

Are you sure the write-protection tab on the floppy isn't set?

This is an odd problem, though, if that's not the cause. Why don't you just break down and pick up a few CDRs?
