[SOLVED] Black screen after logout in Slackware-Current

Are you using kdm or xdm?

Hi rkelsen,
excuse because i'm very newbie can you tell me at what point of the topic you refer? I use xdm and I modified xd-config with the statement DisplayManager._0.terminateServer: true but it didn't work.

It does not provide the extra bells and whistles of 3D and such useful stuff. But the radeonhd driver works perfectly, if one can live without the 3D acceleration, ...

It at least made it possible to switch back and forth between X and console screens without the "blackout" issue.
