Binary to Hex Ascii converter

Hi there!
I know this is general to Linux, but I am a fan of Slackware so I'll post it here.

I need a script or a short program or tell me how to convert binary into hexadecimal numbers (ASCII coded).

This is what I actually want to do. I want to look at a video file (MPEG) bitstream. I know I can use hex editors. But, they limit my exporting the ASCI Coded HEX numbers. If the file is small it is okay, but the smalles file I am dealing here is only 300k. but is darn lot of hassle to do it page by page.

Thanks in advance.
