Question Bigslack Batch File

Have downloaded Bigslack and edited Bat file to point to the right drive but have a prob with the VGA setting included as below

\linux\loadlin \linux\vmlinuz root=/dev/hda1 rw vga=791

as this tries to run X windows in 1024x768. My old monitor is 800x600.

Can I edit the above batch line or does it get more complicated?
PS Newbie so be gentle!

Yes, just edit the line to say vga=787 or 788
787 = 32k colours
788 = 64k
