Best Guess on Gnome 2.8?

The announcement of Gnome 2.8 noted that it would include Evolution 2.0 which has some features I'm interested in using. Any idea when 2.8 will start showing up in slackware-current based on past experience?

Thanks.

not until it's ready

I would say at least a week or so... KDE 3.3 took a couple of weeks (I think) and it is still in /testing... I'm ready for it too though... in the meantime check out this new distro here with 2.8:

and some screenies of 2.8:

If Pat is not busy with other things or on vacation and there does not appear to be any bugs in it (look at kde in /testing) then it will be in pretty quick. But that assumes a lot of things.

I won't die if it's a month out, but I may start to twitch after a couple of weeks. I appreciate the replies.
