beryl


hello,

i am using slackware 12. i downloaded beryl and installed it. but i am not able to run it. when i run it i get a error like this...

root@warun:/home/varun/setup/beryl-core-0.2.1/src# ./beryl
No protocol specified
xvinfo: Unable to open display :0.0

wat do i do?

Beryl is "old news", try Compiz-Fusion instead (available at slackbuilds.org).

i tried installing Compiz-Fusion but i am getiing an error while building one of its libraries libcompizconfig as....

Compiz-fusion is included in slackware 12.1, you could upgrade your system or try to use slackbuilds/packages with it.
