Ok thanks,
I have the driver installed, and wicd is showing that networks are available. When I try to connect, it is rejecting my WPA passphrase. Is this a common issue with this driver?
Also, I LOVE the SlackBuilds system, reminds me of ports when I tried FreeBSD

Your wifi should work with 13.37. You will need to get the firmware as others have suggested. Once you do then be sure that '/etc/rc.d/rc.inet1.conf' is at original install state if you wish to use 'wicd'.

Hi,
I have looked at my
Code:
rc.inet1.conf
file, and all of the references to my wlan0 device are commented out. Is this what you meant by "original install state"?
