backup files over network on Slack 9
My friend and I are running a MUCK server on a Slack 9 box and he wants to replicate the dbase onto another comp so he may have access to the files offline and work on it there. I am sure that to set up a replication at a certain time, I will need to run a cron job. However, I am not entirely too sure as to what else will be necessarry.
How is this done if it is possible and what is involved? He is going to be replicating to another slack 9 box. |
import a writeable fs on your slack machine? or do an scp? or rsync?

Would you be so kind as to elab a little more? This is one of the functions that I am not entirely sure how to do. Please give some instructions or other info. Thanks! :)
