Background Color during KDE Start-up

I would like to change the background color during the loading of KDE from the default, very light gray, to the background color of my desktop, dark blue. Is this possible, and if so, what file do I need to change.

I tried the login manager at the KDE control center but without success.

Many thanks for any intel.

Rick

I beleive the login manager allows you to choose a picture to use as background...so create a .png that is the size of your desktop in the colour you want and use that.
