I have a Broadcom BCM4306 internal wifi card in my laptop.
03:02.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4306 802.11b/g Wireless LAN Controller (rev 03)
Subsystem: Hewlett-Packard Company Unknown device 12f8
Control: I/O- Mem+ BusMaster+ SpecCycle- MemWINV- VGASnoop- ParErr- Stepping- SERR- FastB2B- DisINTx-
Status: Cap- 66MHz- UDF- FastB2B- ParErr- DEVSEL=fast >TAbort- <TAbort- <MAbort- >SERR- <PERR- INTx-
Interrupt: pin A routed to IRQ 10
Region 0: Memory at b0200000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=8K]
Kernel driver in use: b43-pci-bridge
I have compiled both B43 and B43legacy, and from the website it would seem that my card should use the b43legacy driver. However, the card likes the b43 module better and will not run correctly. I have installed all the firmware (both version 480 and 320 of the wl_apsta*.o) and still have had no luck.
Removing the b43 module and loading the b43legacy just kills the card and it wont even detect it.
Any ideas on what i can do?
