Autoplaying DVDs, Hal, kde, dbus etc

I've been trying to get a dvd to autoplay but nothing I've tried seems to work. I have a 'dvd' script that starts up mplayer with correct parameters, so I normally just use a link to it or type in console. Works fine.

But when I try to point kde to it as an action to do when inserting a DVD Video it complains that 'a folder was found when a file was expected'.

I've tried using full path, putting 'bash' in front of it but no go. I also tried playing withe the .desktop file with same results.

Has anyone found out how to do this yet?

Hi,
Try the link below. Have this installed here and works like a charm.

Works great. Many thanks. A non gnome or kde dependent volume manager! Need more s/w like this imo.
