Audacious Missing Button Icons -CURRENT

Hello, running Slackware -current, fluxbox WM and using the GTK interface for audacious leaves many of the buttons without images or icons if you prefer. I'm wondering if this is because I've misconfigured something or they're just missing in general.

Other than my preference for not running an IDE things are pretty much default.

Hmmm... I believe that Audacious has now split with 2 tarballs:
  1. For GTK+ 2 or Qt 5
  2. For GTK+ 3

and Slackware builds the 1st option. Icons missing again in my copy of Audacious as well I see, some more work in ~/.gtkrc-2.0 I suspect...

If it's using GTK+ 2 again, the icons should come back after adding

Code:
gtk-icon-theme-name="Adwaita"
gtk-fallback-icon-theme = "Tango"
to your ~/.gtkrc-2.0

Thank you, this worked a charm.

I'm curious if you have the adwaita-icon-theme package installed?

Also, more related to the other thread, if the qt interface is built in audacious-plugins, does kde use that instead (and hence make the icons okay)?

Yes, full install of Slackware. Unlike gnome-icon-theme (which was removed earlier in -current), adwaita-icon-theme doesn't provide all icons for my programs, though.

For example, the icon for a random track in banshee is missing in adwaita. That's where tango comes in and makes it look good again.
